The development of a your own personal philosophy on life and other aspects that matter to us is the basis for creating a plan to achieve our goals. The personal beliefs of a teacher plays an essential element in their progress to guide children on the path of learning.

The students I want to collaborate with at this stage in the course are students who suffer from hearing issues. This is due to the fact that students with slight to moderate hearing issues might be able to work in the general-education classroom environment with minimal modification. Additionally, students who have significant hearing loss do benefit from the full range of communication options that include the use of formal gestures, fingerspelling facial expressions, gestures, spoken words and body language within the classroom, regardless of whether it can be self-contained, or integrated, which is not much effort. In addition, those who have hearing issues can use the use of speech to communicate. Because they might not be able to comprehend the information being conveyed in a clear and concise manner, teachers are advised to employ a different method of communication, such as writing the message out as well as using an alternative word to draw the attention of the student before speaking to him/her.

In these interactions, and especially those that take place face-to-face, new communication strategies can be created. This could affect the quality of the teaching strategy utilized by students as well as the performance of the technology used to learn to teach the students. To increase the learning effectiveness of students with hearing impairments through an the use of an implicit instructional method it is necessary to establish of student groups in classrooms equipped with advanced technology. The research has shown that this strategy is extremely efficient opposed to the lecture method.

The additional professional skills I’d like to master are trustworthiness and confidence. This is because confidence will allow me to offer methods to search for unique solutions for each student and their family’s issues. Being reliable in turn will allow me to make efforts to win the trust of the child who has a disability and be aware of their vulnerability as well as the vulnerability of their families.

The skills I want to develop through experience as well as continuing my education in how to assist and help students who have disabilities. Furthermore, I could learn these skills by attending and participating in various workshops on the best ways to assist and help students with learning disabilities.

It can be a challenging task for many to assist and support students who have disabilities. However having a professional and personal attitude to living and working is crucial because it allows one to quickly find solutions to assist disabled students and their families.
